OUR PRODUCTION

Magma® Rosso (0,75l burgundy bottle-cases of 9 bottles and 1,5l magnum)
A super selection of usually single cru ripe Nerello Mascalese grapes. This wine will only be bottled from vineyards and vintages that provide the perfect quality.

Magma® Bianco (0,75l burgundy bottle-cases of 9 bottles)
A super selection of usually single cru ripe grapes from ancient and ungrafted vines. This golden wine will only be bottled from vineyards and vintages that provide the perfect quality.

MunJebelŽ Rosso (0,75l burgundy bottle-cases of 9 bottles)
A blend of various vineyards (contradas) as well as various vintages, as expressed through a selection of only our precious ripe Nerello Mascalese. Our Mongibello expresses the lost traditions of blending particular vineyards for the making of the once reputed Etna Rosso.

MunJebelŽ Bianco (0,75l burgundy bottle-cases of 9 bottles)
A blend of various vineyards (contradas) as expressed through the varietals Carricante, Grecanico Dorato and Coda di Volpe. This golden wine is vinified like our reds, in full and long skin-contact to extract its territorial identity.

Rosso del Contadino (0,75l burgundy bottle-cases of 9 bottles)
A blend of various local grapes, white and red, from different contradas, without the selections done for Magma® or Mongibello. A more humble, modestly priced, natural, vintage wine.

Campagne (0,75l burgundy bottle-cases of 9 bottles)
This sparkling red wine is made according to an ancient technique of refermentation in bottle, instead of using technology and cane sugar. We mix fresh must to one year old Rosso del Contadino, bottle, and release after 6 months gentle refermentation.

Distillato della Vinnaccia di Magma® (0,35l renana bottle-cases of 16 bottles)
A double distillation made with master distiller Giovanni La Fauci of Giovi Distillery. We use a wood-fired vapour still to slowly extract the essence of Magma® vinnaccia, and re-distill after 1 year to maximise aromaticity. It is bottled unfiltered and undiluted, between 72-80%. Best slowly sipped and savoured.

Distillato alla Nepitella (0,35l renana bottle-cases of 16 bottles)
Distillato al Ginepro di Timparossa (0,35l renana bottle-cases of 16 bottles)
A double distillation made with master distiller Giovanni La Fauci. We use a wood-fired vapour still to slowly extract the essence of Rosso del Contadino vinnaccia, and re-distill after 1 year to maximise aromaticity. The medicine herb Nepitella and the Juniper berries picked when ripe from the high slopes of mount Etna are put into the bottle for maceration. It is bottled unfiltered and undiluted, between 72-80%. Best slowly sipped and savoured.

Olio di Oliva Magma® (0,375l renana bottle-cases of 16 bottles)
An olive by olive super-selection of perfectly mature and healthy, single cru precious little San Benedetto olives. Handpicked when edible, crushed with traditional mill-stones and basket pressed, using our own discs. Produced only in vintages that provide the perfect quality.

Olio di Oliva MunJebelŽ (0,75l burgundy bottle-cases of 9 bot  tles)
A blend of different contradas and local olives like Brandolfina,  Noccellara dell¹tna, Pendolino, Frantoiana, Coratina and of course our precious little San Benedetto. . Machine-and handpicked, crushed and pressed as per Magma®.

Olio di Oliva Contadino (3l metal can)
A blend of different contradas and the local olives Brandolfina and Noccellara dell¹tna. Machine- and handpicked, crushed and pressed as per Magma®.

Various farming products
We also cultivate local fruit varietals (apples, prunes, apricots, quinces), mountain pumpkins, honey from our vineyard beehives, Mostarda di Nerello, etc. These products are limited and vary anually.
